Terra Divina - Framed Original

A$950.00

Original acrylic painting on canvas, 40 × 60cm

Inspired by the sun-warmed landscape of Puglia in southern Italy, Terra Divina emerged from a time spent immersed in the quiet rhythms of the countryside.

Staying in small towns of Cisternino and Ostuni, I found myself drawn to the earthy beauty of the land — ancient stone walls, silvery olive trees, dry grasses and the unhurried movement of life around me. There was something quietly sacred about this landscape, its beauty shaped by time, nature and the elements.

This work reflects that feeling of connection to the natural world, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary when we allow ourselves to slow down and really see it. An expression of the earth's quiet presence, and the sense of restoration that can come from simply being still within it.

Terra Divina is part of a pair, alongside Terra Firma. Created at the same time, the two works share a palette and a connection to the landscape of Puglia, Italy. They can be collected individually or together as a complementary pair.
